Lanterna Grid

A quiet logic puzzle about light.

Every grid is split into coloured regions. Place one lantern in each region so that no two lanterns share a row or a column — and no two ever touch, not even at a corner. That is the whole game.

No guessing, ever

Every puzzle has exactly one solution, and every solution can be reached by pure deduction. Each one is checked twice before it ships: once by an exhaustive solver, and once by the same reasoning engine that writes the hints.

No accounts, no sign-in, no subscriptions or in-app purchases. Your progress stays on your device. The app is supported by ads, and they stay out of the way: never on the board, never during a puzzle, and a short one only between puzzles.
